Tadas is a to-do app for teams, at tadas.fyi and app.tadas.fyi. This page says what it keeps about you, who else receives any of it, how long it is kept, and how to have it deleted. Questions go to baristaze@hotmail.com.
What Tadas keeps
- Your account: your email address and name, as the sign-in provider confirms them, and the orgs you belong to with your role in each.
- Your work: the tasks, notes, due dates, and assignments you and your team write, the files you attach or import, and a record of who changed what and when.
- Your plan: which plan an org is on and its Stripe customer id. Card details go to Stripe and never reach Tadas.
- Slack, when an org installs it: the workspace and channel it posts to, and the access token Slack issues, stored encrypted.
- Service records: each request's time, route, and status, with no request body and no query string, and reports of the app's own errors, written so that no task's or comment's text goes in them.
The company site sets no cookie and runs no script. The app keeps its sign-in in your browser's session storage and your display preferences in its local storage, and sets no tracking cookie. Tadas shows no ads and sells no data.
Who else receives some of it
Tadas uses these services, each for one purpose and each receiving only what that purpose needs:
- Amazon Web Services (United States, us-west-2) runs the app and stores its data, encrypted at rest.
- WorkOS signs you in: it receives your email address, sends the sign-in code, and holds your sign-in identity.
- Stripe takes payments for paid plans: it receives the org's billing details and your card.
- Slack receives the tasks and reminders an org chooses to post to a channel, and only once the org installs Tadas there.
- Sentry receives reports of the app's errors, which carry a request id and no task or comment text.
Tadas shares nothing else with anyone, unless the law requires it.
How long it is kept
- Your account and your work stay while your account and your org exist.
- The record of changes is kept for 90 days.
- Service records are kept for 30 days.
- A deleted item leaves the database within 30 days, and its backups within 7 days after that.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account in the app's Settings. The deletion is at once and final: your account, your personal org with its tasks and files, and your sign-in identity at WorkOS go, any subscription is cancelled, and the Stripe customer is deleted; Stripe keeps the invoices the law asks it to keep. The work you did in a team org stays the team's. An org's owner can delete a team org the same way. Everything deleted leaves the backups within 7 days. You can also ask for a copy or a deletion at baristaze@hotmail.com.
